Kit Lake is a tiny stocked trout lake in Clarence-Steepbank Provincial Park.

The lake is 55 km NE of the Resort Village of Candle Lake and is accessible off Highway 927 down a rough road that runs through the Provincial Park.

The lake was impacted by the SHOE Fire in 2025 and I don't have any updated photos from after the fire.

This is actually one of the easier-to-access lakes in the Provincial Park with a decent but primitive boat launch with no dock. It's suitable for small boats or paddlers. The road through the park is not maintained after Clarence Lake so take your time and make sure your vehicle has adequate clearance.

Kit Lake is stocked yearly with Rainbow Trout. The nearby Ridge Lake is stocked with Brook Trout.

Klein Lake is a very small lake in southern Saskatchewan. It is located 73km NNE of North Battleford and 33km W of Spiritwood. A gravel road crosses the lake and provides access to a cement boat launch.

This is a very long and narrow lake at the bottom of a valley. The lake is nicely lined with trees and looks like a great paddling destination!

There are no fish species reported for this lake, but Cater Lake which looks like it's connected is reported to have yellow perch and northern pike. I would assume those are both in Klein Lake as well.

Kristi Lake (officially named Coubeaux Lake) is a tiny lake just north of Prince Albert on the edge of Little Red River Park.

There are trails around most of the lake for hiking in the summer and winter, and ski trails are groomed on both the south and north sides as well as on the lake itself by the Prince Albert Ski Club during the winter.

This is a really pretty spot to hike, ski, or just enjoy the forest. It's very close to the city and well worth a visit any time of year.

There is a parking lot with access to the Kristi Lake hiking trails near Marks Nine on the north side of the lake. On the south side it is possible to drive to the lake but you'll want a high-clearance vehicle and to make sure the road has been plowed during the winter.
