Kenosee Lake
Kenosee Lake is a medium sized stocked lake in southern Saskatchewan. It is located in Moose Mountain Provincial Park and 90km NNE of Estevan. Access to the lake and it's amenities is from Highway 9 and Highway 209.
The majority of the lake is within Moose Mountain Provincial Park, the Resort Village of Kenosee Lake is located on the northeast corner of the lake, and parts of the southern shoreline and lake are within the Whitebear Reserve.
The resort village has many services including a gas station, restaurant, convenience store, full-service, private campground, and a volunteer fire department.
Walleye and Yellow Perch can be found in Kenosee Lake. The lake is stocked periodically with walleye fry.
The lake is located at the cop of a hill, and has struggled with low water levels for many years. The last time the lake was full was in 1955, and it has had issues with winter kill in the past. Work has been done in recent years to increase water flow into the lake by improving a culvert between Little Kenosee Lake and Kenosee Lake as well as other efforts. From 2010-17 the water level on the lake increased by 17' 5".
