There is no cell phone connectivity or electricity in this park, therefore it is recommended that visitors plan their stay in advance. This includes purchasing entry, making reservations and updating reservations if required prior to arrival - it is recommended to do this by visiting parks.saskatchewan.ca. Entry Permits can also be purchased at the main Porcupine Hills Provincial Park office located at 501 Prince Street in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan. All changes and cancellations should be made in advance of arrival.

Lac La Ronge Provincial Park Bulletin

Entry Permits :

It is recommended visitors purchase vehicle entry permits prior to arriving at your campground as these entry permits are not sold at the campground offices located within the campgrounds. Daily and weekly entry permits can be purchased online at parks.saskatchewan.ca. Daily, weekly and annual entry permits can be purchased at the main Lac La Ronge Provincial Park office located at #11 La Ronge Road in Air Ronge (bottom floor of the Lac La Ronge Regional Visitor Centre).

Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory:

A Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory is in effect for Lac La Ronge Provincial Park in the Nemeiben and Nut Point campgrounds. This advisory applies to any water sources within these campgrounds. Any water used must be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute prior to use. Affected visitors must bring sufficient potable water with them.

Wadin Bay Closure:

Wadin Bay campground will be closed for the 2026 camping season due to wildfire damage restoration.

Duck Mountain Provincial Park 2026 Summer Calendar

Notice:

Beginning September 8, 2026, the Spruce campground service centre will be demolished and rebuilt and there may be an increase in noise levels in this area. Also select campsites and the service centre will be closed due to the construction work. During this time, visitors can access the service centre in the Poplar campground for showers or other washroom facilities in Spruce campground.

Visitor Centre:

The Visitor Centre at Narrow Hills Provincial Park will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Wildfire Recovery Efforts:

As part of our wildfire recovery efforts, select campsites in Narrow Hills Provincial Park including the Gem Lakes will be temporarily closed. We appreciate your understanding as this important work takes place.
