My husband and I decided to try fishing here. We spent 5 hrs there and nothing. We tried various types of bait: worms, minnows, foam bait, even cheese. Winter kill maybe?
Pond was restocked recently by the Sask Fish Hatchery.

The Saskatchewan Fish Hatchery restocked the pond with 1,000 Rainbow Trout!
Free of ice and alot of birds on the water. As said before this is a nice lake for bird watching. Alot of different species around. The eared grebes swam and dove only a few feet away from me while shore fishing.
