The lake is in the central fishing zone. Burbot, Cisco, Lake Trout, Lake Whitefish, Northern Pike, White Sucker and Yellow Perch can be found in Sahli Lake.
There are no parks or communities on the lake.
Jan Lake Recreation Site is 23km NNW of Sahli Lake.
Sahli Lake was named after George Kasper Sahli on 1953-07-02 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
