Potato Lake

Potato Lake is a smaller fishing/recreational lake located 9.8km S of Air Ronge and 200km N of Prince Albert. The lake is accessible just off of Highway 2.

There is a subdivision of cabins on the west side of the lake, as well as a primitive boat launch.

The Napatāk Ramble Music Festival is held at the lake every year.

Walleye, Northern Pike, and Whitefish can be found in Potato Lake. Note that angling is closed on Potato Lake, Lower Potato Lake and the Potato River between April 1 - May 31. Parts of the Potato River are closed to angling all year. See Anglers Guide for full details.

Potato Lake is connected to Lac La Ronge by the Potato River. A short channel connects Potato Lake to Lower Potato Lake.
