Birchbark Lake is a large pretty, lake in central Saskatchewan. It is located 53km NE of Prince Albert and 29.5 SSE of the Resort Village of Candle Lake. Access to the lake is from a grid road connected to Highway 55.

The road can be pretty rough and I wouldn't recommend pulling a trailer in unless if you've scouted ahead to see what state the road is in.

Birchbark Lake recreation site is located on the southeast side of the lake. There is a primitive launch and a few campsites but no other facilities/amenities.

Northern pike can be found in Birchbark Lake, it's quite shallow and is susceptible to winter kill.

Birchbark Creek flows from the north end of the lake into Hunt Lake, and from there into Torch Lake.

First time I stopped in at the lake. It's a bit of a rough drive in, but very pretty lake with a primitive boat launch. I wouldn't try and bring a trailer in though!
