Shannon Lake

Shannon Lake is a beautiful, tiny stocked trout lake within Narrow Hills Provincial Park. The lake is 48km ENE of the Resort Village of Candle Lake and 111km NE of Prince Albert.

There is a boat launch and picnic area at the lake, with more facilities located at the nearby Ispuchaw Lake, Zeden Lake, and Lower Fishing Lake.

The lake is accessible from the Hanson Lake Road. There is a pull off the road with a memorial plaque for Harold Shannon, the boat launch is at the south end of the lake with the turn 600m S of the pull-off.

Shannon Lake is regularly stocked with Brown Trout.

Shannon Lake is named after sportsman and conservationist Harold Shannon who served in WW1 and also acted as postmaster and justice of the peace.

This lake has been personally visited by myself, Matthew Siemens.
