Sapphire Lake

Sapphire Lake is one of the super popular Gem Lakes located in Narrow Hills Provincial Park. The Gem Lakes are an incredibly popular destination for hiking, paddling, swimming, and camping!

The only access to Sapphire Lake is by trail or paddling/portaging. The parking lot for accessing all the Gem Lakes is located near Jade Lake. There is a portage connecting Opal Lake to Sapphire Lake. Please note only electric motors are allowed on Sapphire Lake.

There are two back country-campsites on Sapphire Lake.

Sapphire Lake is stocked every two years with splake. Different types of stocked trout can be found in most of the Gem Lakes.

This lake has been personally visited by myself, Matthew Siemens.
