Russell Lake is a very large lake located 26km NW of Creighton and 28km NW of Flin Flon. The lake has a surface area of 6,435 acres and is located at: 54.917867,-102.19549.
The lake is in the central fishing zone. We don't know of any fish species that can be found in Russell Lake.
There are no parks or communities on the lake.
Tyrell Lake Recreation Site is 5.3km NW, Granite Lake Recreation Site is 22km ENE and Tyrrell Lake Recreation Site is 5.1km NW of Russell Lake.
Russell Lake was named after Maxwell Alvin Russell on 1952-02-06 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
