Niven Lake
Niven Lake is a very large lake located 12km ENE of Dorintosh and 31km N of Meadow Lake (City). The lake has a surface area of 8,281 acres and is located at: 54.405084,-108.465344.
The lake is in the central fishing zone. Lake Whitefish, Northern Pike, White Sucker and Yellow Perch can be found in Niven Lake.
The lake is within Meadow Lake Provincial Park.
Pagan Lake Recreation Site is 15km NW and Beaver River Recreation Site is 15km NE of Niven Lake.
Niven Lake was named after Charles Morrison Niven on 1956-03-01 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
