2026 Regional Parks of Saskatchewan Guides now available

The 2026 Regional Parks of Saskatchewan Guide from the Saskatchewan Regional Parks Association (SRPA) is now available, giving visitors a complete look at what's happening across nearly 100 regional parks throughout the province.

The updated 2026 Regional Parks of Saskatchewan Guide is available online and can also be picked up in person at select locations around the province.

What's Inside the 2026 Guide?

The guide is a helpful planning tool whether you're booking a summer camping trip, looking for a weekend golf getaway, or searching for a new lake to explore. Inside, you'll find:

  • Contact information for parks across the province
  • Details on services and amenities (camping, golf courses, beaches, boat launches, and more)
  • Highlights of unique features at individual parks
  • Seasonal information to help plan your visit

With almost 100 regional parks in Saskatchewan, many of them located on or near lakes, there are countless opportunities to experience the province's natural beauty. From quiet prairie campgrounds to bustling lake destinations, regional parks offer something for everyone.

Having spent time visiting many of Saskatchewan's regional parks over the years, I can say they each have their own personality. Some are known for fantastic fishing, others for family-friendly beaches, scenic golf courses, or peaceful camping tucked into the trees. The guide makes it easy to compare parks and maybe even discover a new favourite spot you haven't considered before.

Non-Accredited Regional Parks in 2026

Each year, parks must meet accreditation standards set by the provincial association. Accreditation helps ensure consistent levels of service, governance, and visitor experience.

There were a few changes between the 2025 and 2026 seasons. The parks listed below are considered non-accredited for 2026. This may be due to missing the filing deadline, not meeting accreditation standards, or choosing not to participate in the accreditation program.

Newly Non-Accredited in 2026

Still Non-Accredited in 2026

  • Duck Mountain
  • Wynyard & District Regional Park
  • Table Mountain
  • Unity & District
  • Sylvan Valley Regional Park

Now Accredited in 2026

The following parks are accredited again for the 2026 season:

  • Biggar & District
  • Lucien Lake
  • Welwyn Centennial Regional Park

Whether you're planning a camping trip, a fishing weekend, or just looking for somewhere new to explore, the 2026 guide is worth flipping through. Saskatchewan's regional parks are affordable, accessible, and packed with character.

If you're thinking about trying a park you haven't visited before, this guide is a great place to start.
