Matthew Siemens
Hi, I'm Matthew!
I'm a self-employed (aka fun-employed) software developer living in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. I'm passionate about the outdoors and enjoy hiking, kayaking, biking, gardening, swimming, and camping.
My wife and I have a small cabin just north of Prince Albert, and there aren't many days throughout the year where I'm not swimming, paddling, skiing, or enjoying one of our amazing lakes.
You can contact me directly at [email protected].

October 8, 2024Massive lake, a number of different places to access it but none of them are amazing. Big ice fishing derby held here every March.
Visited Potato Lake
October 8, 2024Smaller lake near La Ronge. A small subdivision of cabins and a primitive boat launch on the lake.

October 8, 2024Pretty little trout lake. Looks like people have been camping in here. There is a *very* primitive boat launch but you could get a small boat or a canoe out. Looks like people have been shore fishing too. Very quiet, not to much garbage, great spot!

October 8, 2024Probably one of the most popular lakes in the province! It's big, beautiful, and has a lot going on!

October 8, 2024Pretty little pond just off the highway. Quite a bit of garbage around. Could launch a canoe or kayak. Bit of a parking lot. Has a sign from the highway.
