Martins Lake

Martins Lake is a small (280-acre) recreational lake located 29km north of Blaine Lake and just over an hour from Saskatoon.

The lake has a nice Regional Park featuring a beach, playgrounds, picnic areas, two boat launches, camping, seasonal lots, cabins, and a 9-hole golf course.

There is another newer subdivision of cabins on the southern side of the lake.

The lake isn't big, and the water can get busy on weekends, but it's a pretty lake with many amenities not too far from Saskatoon. It is very worth a visit with lots for families to do.

Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Walleye and White Sucker can be found in Martins Lake. It was stocked with walleye in the past, but not since 1994.

Martins Lake was named after Frank Martin whose family homesteaded northeast of the lake.

The boat launch by the beach isn't cleared, but the boat launch by the cabins is. Someone was out with a small SUV, couple holes drilled near the boat launch.

Quite a nice regional park. Haven’t been here in ten years or so. Went for a paddle to see the old family cabin. Nice picnic sites by the boat launch!
