Green Lake
Green Lake is a very large, long and skinny lake located 47km E of Meadow Lake (City) and just NW of Cowan Lake. Access to the lake is from the village of Green Lake and Highway 55.
The lake has a long history in the fur trade, and the Northern Village of Green Lake on the northern shore of the lake is the third oldest settlement in Saskatchewan.
Green Lake Lodge is located on the northwest side of the lake and has campsites, rental cabins, rental boats, and a paid boat launch.
Lac Vert RV Park is located on the northeast side of the lake. It is owned by the municipality and offers full-service RV sites, electric sites, a convenience store, and two boat launches.
Walleye, Northern Pike, Cisco, White Sucker, Lake Whitefish, Burbot and Yellow Perch can be found in Green Lake. Lake Trout were stocked in the lake between 1989 and 1993 but I haven't heard of anyone catching them recently.
Tea Creek is the main inflow for Green Lake and enters at the south end. Green River is the main outflow and flows north from the lake into Beaver River.
