Fishing Paddling Paddling Birding

I love this hidden gem for paddling & birding. It's 5mi west of our farm, but to get to the S end is a trek. The road in is OK up to the last 1/2 mi., then it's high clearance vehicles only. Someone has made a bypass around the impassable , rutted stretch to the lake. ( You might want to bring a saw.) Once there, there are few parking spots, but usually you can find one. You can launch a small fishing boat ok at the sandy launch spot. There is a very dilapidated dock. Good luck.
