Stein Lake is a medium sized (702 acre) lake located 46km NNW of La Ronge and 231km NE of Meadow Lake (City).

Stein Lake was named after Arthur George Stein on 1953-03-05 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
