Sotkowy Lake is a small (447 acre) lake located 78km NE of La Ronge and 278km NNE of Prince Albert.

Sotkowy Lake was named after Stanley Walter Sotkowy on 1957-10-03 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
