Scrimes Lake is a large (2943 acre) lake located 349km N of Sandy Bay and 583km NNE of Meadow Lake (City).

Scrimes Lake was named after Frank John Barnes Scrimes on 1950-12-07 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
