There are no parks or communities on the lake.
Besnard Lake Recreation Site is 27km ENE of Redwood Lake.
Redwood Lake was named after George Charles Redwood on 1981-06-25 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government. Redwood Lake was previously known as:
- Wells Lake from 1981-06-25 to 1981-06-25.
