Wells Lake is a small (427 acre) lake located 52km NNW of La Ronge and 240km NE of Meadow Lake (City).

Wells Lake was named after Robert Sladden Wells on 1981-06-25 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
