Pear Lake

Pear Lake is a small, pretty, stocked trout lake located 33km NNW of the Village of Christopher Lake, just before the turn-off to Prince Albert National Park.

When I visited, the road was quite muddy, but the lake is only a few hundred metres from the highway. The launch is primitive and only suitable for paddlers and small boats that you can carry in.

The lake is stocked yearly with rainbow trout and every second year with brook trout.

This lake has been personally visited by myself, Matthew Siemens.

What a pretty little lake! The road was muddy so I parked near the highway and walked the short distance into the lake. A gentleman was just leaving when I got there with the largest Brook Trout I've ever seen in person!

Directions to Pear Lake

Accessible from trail off of Highway 2. Road is muddy and torn up. I ended up walking in from the highway. It's only a few hundred metres from the highway to the lake.
