McGunigal Lake is a medium sized (601 acre) lake located 76km N of La Ronge and 272km NE of Meadow Lake (City).

McGunigal Lake was named after Philip Arthur McGunigal on 1968-01-16 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
