Matkin Lake is a small (371 acre) lake located 14km ENE of Dorintosh and 30km N of Meadow Lake (City).
Matkin Lake was named after Frederick Joseph Matkin on 1956-03-01 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
