Lac Huard

Lac Huard is a pretty, medium-sized (1607 acre) lake located 8.2km E of the Resort Village of Chitek Lake and 68km SE of the City of Meadow Lake.

There are no services or amenities at the lake, but there is a primitive boat launch.

The north end of Lac Huard is accessible by a forest road off of Highway 945 The road is fairly narrow and a bit rough, make sure you have a vehicle with some clearance.

Northern pike and yellow perch can be found in Lac Huard. The lake is shallow and is prone to winter kill.

A creek runs from the north end of the lake into Shell Lake which is just north of Lac Huard.

The road to the lake is quite narrow and rough, but it's worth the drive! Pretty lake, with a decent primitive launch.
