The lake is in the northern fishing zone. Lake Trout, Lake Whitefish, Northern Pike and Walleye can be found in Hale Lake.
There are no parks or communities on the lake.
Hale Lake was named after Francis Joseph Hale on 1952-04-03 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
