Gouverneur Reservoir

Gouverneur Reservoir is a small stocked reservoir in southern Saskatchewan. It is located 60km S of Swift Current and 6 km NW of Cadillac. Access to the reservoir is from grid roads north of Highway 13.

A cabin community and boat launch are located on the east side of the reservoir.

The reservoir is along the course of Notukeu Creek and was created when the Grouverneur Dam was built in 1951.

Walleye, White Sucker and Yellow Perch can be found in Gouverneur Reservoir. It is regularly stocked with walleye.

Gouverneur Ogden

Gouverneur Ogden was a vice president of the Canadian Pacific Railway. The community of Gouverneur to the east of the reservoir was named after him. The dam and reservoir got their name from the community.
