Tiger Trout are a sterile hybrid of a male brook trout and a female brown trout.
In Saskatchewan, Tiger Trout are raised at the Saskatchewan Fish Hatchery on Echo Lake and released into ponds and lakes across the province. Dryland Fisheries also sells Tiger Trout for stocking of private ponds.
