The lake is in the southern fishing zone. Walleye, White Sucker and Yellow Perch can be found in Eagle Lake. It was last stocked in 2019 with 100,000 Walleye Fry.

There are no parks or communities on the lake. Eagle Lake is partially within Lake Lenore No. 399 (Rural Municipality) and partially within Pleasantdale No. 398 (Rural Municipality).

Lenore Lake Wildlife Refuge is 26km ENE, Melfort and District Regional Park is 23km S, Lenore Lake Bird Sanctuary is 29km ENE and St. Brieux Regional Park is 19km E of Eagle Lake.
