2026 Jan Lake Walleye & Northern Pike Fundraising Fishing Tournament hosted by the Jan Lake Playground Committee
June 30, 2026 - August 1, 2026
The 2nd Annual Jan Lake Walleye & Northern Pike Fundraising Fishing Tournament begins June 30th and runs up to August 1st at 7pm. Visit the Jan Lake Playground page on Facebook for rules, info booklet and entry details. All funds raised in this tournament will be used to fund the installation of a brand new mini-golf feature at the new children's playground in the Jan Lake community! Entry fees are Adult $30 / Youth $10 (non-refundable). Registrations will be capped at 200, so purchase your entry today via e-transfer!

Does not apply within Prince Albert National Park. You'll still need a license to take any fish out of the province.

During these days Sask residents and visitors will be able to fish for free without a license. All regular limits, and regulations still apply.
The free fishing weekend does not apply in National Parks!
