Bittern Lake is a very large lake located 34km WNW of Candle Lake (Village) and 80km N of Prince Albert. The lake has a surface area of 8,069 acres and is located at: 53.9347818172153,-105.75509077815984.

The lake is in the central fishing zone. Burbot, Cisco, Lake Whitefish, Northern Pike, Walleye, White Sucker and Yellow Perch can be found in Bittern Lake.

There are no parks or communities on the lake. Bittern Lake is partially within Bittern Lake 218 (Reserve), partially within Montreal Lake 106 (Reserve) and partially within Paddockwood No. 520 (Rural Municipality).

Candle Lake Provincial Park is 26km WNW, Anglin Lake Recreation Site is 29km NNE, Waskesiu River Recreation Site is 20km SE and Great Blue Heron Provincial Park is 31km NNE of Bittern Lake.

The lake was officially named on 1956-11-02.
