Atton Lake

Atton Lake is a fishing and recreational lake 15km NE of Cut Knife and 40km NW of North Battleford. Access to the lake is from Atton Lake Road which runs north from Highway 40.

Atton's Lake Regional Park is located on the southern shore of the lake. It has a campground with electric sites, sandy beach, picnic area, ball diamond, 9-hole golf course, boat launch and a subdivision of cabins.

On Saturdays and Sundays from June to August motors are banned on the lake.

Walleye, Northern Pike and Yellow Perch can be found in Atton Lake.

The lake itself is spring fed, closed basin lake with no outlets.

There was a question about whether there was a boat launch. YES there is . Powerboats and PWC are banned on weekends June ,July ,August. Electric trolling motors are allowed

We had a rather nasty stay at this regional park campground a few years ago. We survived a tornado coming across the lake. Small amount of hail damage to our vehicles but massive damage for other people as well as many trees torn down. Our site was not great and our family did not particularly enjoy our stay there.
