Whetter Lake is a small (214 acre) lake located 100km NNE of La Ronge and 310km NNE of Prince Albert.

Whetter Lake was named after Martin Floyd Whetter on 1950-01-16 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
