Wapawekka Lake is a massive lake located 56km ESE of La Ronge and 205km NNE of Prince Albert. The lake has a surface area of 59,502 acres and is located at: 54.92076127870434,-104.48699488374058.
The lake is in the central fishing zone. Burbot, Cisco, Lake Whitefish, Longnose Sucker, Northern Pike, Walleye, White Sucker and Yellow Perch can be found in Wapawekka Lake.
Lac La Ronge Provincial Park is adjacent to the lake.
Nipekamew Sand Cliffs Protected Area is 39km ENE, Wapawekka Road Corridor Game Preserve is 19km NE and Nipekamew Sand Cliffs is 39km ENE of Wapawekka Lake.
The lake was officially named on 1910-02-01. The name Wapawekka Lake is of Cree origin.
