This was definitely an adventurous trip a couple of years ago in June! The Saskatchewan River Forks is a Provincial Recreation Site in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan at the confluence of the North Saskatchewan and South Saskatchewan Rivers. The rivers, which have their headwaters in the Rocky Mountains, come together to form the Saskatchewan River. (Wikipedia) The branch on the upper right is the North Saskatchewan River that runs through Edmonton, Alberta, and Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. The one on the left is the South Saskatchewan River and it runs through Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The lower right is the main branch that runs out to Lake Winnipeg. We drove over 1,000 km for this fun and adventurous road trip and most likely won't go again ?! The River Forks is approximately 30 km from Prince Albert. We used maps and sometimes felt we were going the wrong way. We did manage to ask someone for directions, and she assured us that we were going the right way!
