Shore Fishing on the Beautiful North Saskatchewan River (Cecil Ferry Crossing)
In this episode we throwback to last Fall when I went shore fishing on the beautiful North Saskatchewan River, at the Cecil Ferry. Fall is not only one of the best times for fish action on the river, it is also the most beautiful time of the year. On this beautiful weekend, I was able to catch both red horse suckers: the silver redhorse and the shorthead redhorse. I have been wanting to catch these two types of suckers for quite a while before this. I was also able to sneak away from fishing one morning and shoot a nice roughed grouse for supper! What a great Fall weekend in Northern Saskatchewan!
