Stempel Lake is a small lake located 101km NE of La Ronge and 300km NNE of Prince Albert. The lake has a surface area of 141 acres and is located at: 55.76371774223818,-104.16887786602469.

McLennan Lake Recreation Site is 20km SSE and Lac La Ronge Provincial Park is 60km NE of Stempel Lake.
Stempel Lake was named after Lawrence Sidney Stempel on 1955-01-20 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
