The lake was officially named on 1956-10-04.

I fished and camped here quite a few years ago. My visit yesterday reminded me of how much I like this lake. It is on my short list for a soon to be return trip to this lovely campsite.

This lake was a really nice surprise! The rec. site has a beautiful campground, with several lake front sites and a decent boat launch. I plan to come back and camp in the future!
