Oback Lake is a large (3030 acre) lake located 315km N of Sandy Bay and 591km NE of Meadow Lake (City).
Oback Lake was named after Adolph Oback on 1950-12-07 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
