The Canada Strong Pass returns

The Canada Strong Pass is returning from December 12, 2025 to January 15, 2026, and again from June 19, 2026 to September 7, 2026. During these periods, visitors can enjoy free admission to participating National Parks and discounted overnight stays in park campgrounds and roofed accommodations.

A great time to explore

The Canada Strong Pass periods are an ideal opportunity to explore Prince Albert National Park without the usual entry fees. Whether you want to try ice fishing on Waskesiu Lake, go for a ski or snowshoe outing or even try some winter camping, these dates make it easier and more affordable to enjoy the park if you don't already have a pass. Trails, viewpoints, beaches, and day-use areas are all open to explore just as you normally would, only at no cost for admission.

How it works

The Canada Strong Pass isn't a physical pass, and you don't need to apply for anything. During the active dates, park entry fees are automatically waived at participating locations. You simply arrive at the park gates as usual, and the free entry is applied.

Discounted overnight stays still require a reservation through Parks Canada's regular booking system, and standard reservation or service fees may still apply. Once booked, the reduced rate will be applied at checkout during the eligible dates.
