Messenger Lake is a medium sized (523 acre) lake located 159km N of La Loche and 426km N of Meadow Lake (City).

Messenger Lake was named after Robert Francis Messenger on 1958-07-03 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
