Merk Lake is a small (364 acre) lake located 29km ESE of Buffalo Narrows and 179km N of Meadow Lake (City).
Merk Lake was named after George Adam Merk on 1951-09-06 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
