McDowell Lake
McDowell Lake is a medium sized lake located 266km NNW of Sandy Bay and 474km NNE of Meadow Lake (City). The lake has a surface area of 2,333 acres and is located at: 57.65127674499143,-104.19345278641778.
The lake is in the northern fishing zone. Lake Trout, Lake Whitefish, Northern Pike and Walleye can be found in McDowell Lake.
There are no parks or communities on the lake.
Geikie River Recreation Site is 16km WSW of McDowell Lake.
McDowell Lake was named after Kenneth Lendon McDowell on 1964-02-27 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
