Little Deer Lake

Little Deer Lake is a medium-sized fishing and recreational lake in Lac La Ronge Provincial Park. The lake is 40km NE of La Ronge with access off Highway 102 (gravel).

There is a boat launch with a dock, a fish filleting shack and outhouse and a campground with two campsites at the lake.

Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Walleye, Lake Whitefish, Burbot, White Sucker and Cisco can be found in Little Deer Lake. The lake was stocked with walleye in the 90's but hasn't been stocked recently.

This is a very interesting lake with many bays and islands to explore. I paddled around it a few years ago and had a lot of fun.

This lake has been personally visited by myself, Matthew Siemens.

Awesome campground off the highway. Pay attention and look for signs the sides of the road are over grown and it’s tough to see all the signs except at night. Only downside to the location is the random vehicles that drive in and leave immediately. Makes me nervous to leave campsites unattended. Lake is wonderful but be cautious as there are some hidden reefs that could easily mess up a motor. We only caught pike. Nothing huge but in great numbers
