Lac Pelletier
Lac Pelletier is a very popular recreational lake in southern Saskatchewan. It is located 35km SSW of Swift Current with access from Highway 343.
There is a lot going at Lac Pelletier, with over 300 cabins, 2 church camps, the community of Darlings Beach, and of course Lac Pelletier Regional Park.
The Regional Park has a golf course, cabins, beaches, boat launches, pickleball courts, hiking trails and four campgrounds.
The lake is a natural, spring fed lake. The water level is managed by a dam on the northern end of the lake. Originally built in 1937, the dam was rebuilt in 1956. When it was built it raised the water level on the lake by 24 inches.
Walleye, Northern Pike, Cisco, Lake Whitefish, Burbot, White Sucker and Yellow Perch can be found in Lac Pelletier. The lake is stocked periodically with walleye fry.
