Knowles Lake is a medium sized (529 acre) lake located 113km NNE of La Ronge and 323km NNE of Prince Albert.

Knowles Lake was named after Douglas Boskill Knowles on 1966-01-19 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
