Kazan Lake is a massive (19727 acre) lake located 26km WNW of Île-à-la-Crosse and 160km N of Meadow Lake (City).

The lake was officially named on 1932-05-03. The name Kazan Lake is of Chipewyan, Dene Suline origin.
