Hirtz Lake
Hirtz Lake is a small lake in central Saskatchewan. It is located in Meadow Lake Provincial Park and 16km N of Pierceland. Access to the lake is from Highway 919 (gravel). Access is blocked off in the fall and re-opened in spring.
There is a small "leave-no-trace" campground along with a boat launch at the lake.
Walleye, Northern Pike, Lake Whitefish and Yellow Perch can be found in Hirtz Lake. It is periodically stocked with walleye. Note: like the rest of the lakes in Meadow Lake Provincial Park there is a custom limit for walleye.
The lake is fed by several streams. The outflow is from the eastern side of the lake where it drains into Pierce Lake.
