Gourlay Lake is a small (457 acre) lake located 141km ENE of La Loche and 340km N of Meadow Lake (City).

Gourlay Lake was named after John Gourlay on 1956-09-06 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
