Gibbs Lake is a small (111 acre) lake located 350km N of La Loche and 606km N of Meadow Lake (City).

Gibbs Lake was named after Mervyn Shopland Gibbs on 1952-01-17 as part of the GeoMemorial Commemorative Naming Program ran by the Sask Government.
